Travel Sketching Workshop with Rosamond Parrish
Thursday, May 21

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Learn how to capture the beauty of your next destination with award-winning watercolor artist, Rosamond Parrish. Students will explore techniques for quick, expressive sketches that bring places and memories to life. This workshop invites artists of all skill levels to slow down, observe, and sketch with confidence.

The day will begin with a 30-minute discussion about travel sketching followed by a short demonstration. Students will then be sent to sketch and photograph outside in the areas surrounding the museum. The group will reconvene for additional sketching and watercolor painting. The majority of this workshop will take place indoors.

Supplies will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own sketchbook. Students may also bring any photos from their travels that they would like to use for inspiration. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of the workshop, and check-in at the front desk.
