Join the Lightner for Storytime in the Garden as we read Wild Symphony by Dan Brown, illustrated by Susan Batori. Following the reading, there will be a hands-on craft that explores the fun of making music.
This program is for children ages 3 - 6 years old. Guardians must remain with their children for the duration of the program.
Storytime in the Garden is a new family program focusing on literacy and creativity that uses the Radzinski Family Garden and Terrace to read, explore, and have fun. Each Storytime in the Garden includes a themed book read-aloud by a museum educator, and a hands-on activity that pairs with the book.
Storytime in the Garden is a free workshop, but preregistration is required. Please only register children participating in the program. The maximum number of spaces available is 10. Participants should arrive 5 minutes before the program begins, and will be met by the museum educator. The entrance to the Radzinski Family Garden is located near the parking lot at the rear of the Lightner Museum.
*Please note that the program may be moved inside if there is inclement weather.
