About the Exhibition:
Showcasing 60 masterworks from the Richard H. Driehaus Collection (Chicago, IL), The Wiener Werkstätte: Art, Luxury, and Beauty in Modern Vienna highlights one of the most influential design movements of the early 20th century. Founded in 1903, the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshops) was a pioneering collective of artists, designers, and craftspeople who sought to erase the boundary between fine and applied arts. Inspired by the ideals of the Vienna Secession and the British Arts and Crafts Movement, the group emphasized refined design, impeccable craftsmanship, and the integration of beauty into everyday life.

The Wiener Werkstätte: Art, Luxury, and Beauty in Modern Vienna reveals the extraordinary breadth of their achievement through furniture, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, textiles, and graphic design.

This event is sponsored by The Treasury Venue Collection.
